The former farmstead now resembles a Bavarian village. It's been in the Ferg family over 100 years. In the village is a little church resembling the church where Silent Night was first played to music in Oberndorf, Austria, in 1818. A life-sized nativity display for the holiday season, a gift shop featuring European imports, the Edelweiss Biergartern serving German-style food and drinks with lots of gemutlichkeit, an Alpine-style bed and breakfast featuring fat feather beds, and fluffy down comforters, private baths, and lace covered windows are among the interesting features of the village. In the summer enjoy the flowers on the balconies and in the gardens. Visitors are welcomed daily from noon until closing.
